Within the biomethane ecosystem
We work with the sector's leading associations and initiatives in Spain and Europe: BIOCIRC, Enagás and the European biomethane framework.
We work with the leading biomethane initiatives
In Spain and in Europe. Being part of the sector's ecosystem is part of our legitimacy.
Sector associationBIOCIRC
We are members of the Spanish Biocircularity Association (BIOCIRC), the business organisation that brings together and champions biogas, biomethane, biofuel and bioproduct companies, and promotes a favourable regulatory framework for the sector in Spain.
Why it matters
- The sector's voice before the authorities.
- A favourable regulatory, political and social framework.
- Business cooperation and shared knowledge.
Bio-CO₂ as a value line
Bio-CO₂ is a second revenue stream in our model: high-purity biogenic CO₂ (95-99%) which, after purification, reaches food-grade quality for the food and beverage industry, e-fuels and other uses.
CO₂ infrastructureEnagás · Call for Interest CO₂
GGiV is taking part in the Enagás Call for Interest CO₂ 2026, the consultation supporting the planning of a hub-based CO₂ logistics infrastructure in Spain, contributing information on our facilities with bio-CO₂ capture potential.

European frameworkGas and Biomethane Mechanism
GGiV is aligned with the European Commission mechanism that connects biomethane producers and buyers across the EU and supports the REPowerEU target of 35 billion m³/year (35 bcm) of biomethane by 2030.
